So I had to hurry over to YouTube to see this video of Judy displaying her DIY earring holder. Now I love DIY projects and Judy did a terrific job. It looks simple enough to do — just a a pair of old panty hose and a box lid — but (and please forgive me, Judy) it looks like a pair of panty hose and a box lid. And at best, you can only hang hook earrings on it.
I don’t know about you, but if I’m going to take the time to make something, I want it to be something I’ll be happy displaying. Something my pretties will look… well pretty on. I’m also, always looking for affordable options, especially for jewelry storage. However, If I don’t have the time — like so many of us — then I’d rather buy something to fit my needs. Luckily, you don’t have to go shopping, because I’ve already done that for you.
Today I’m one the lookout for what new in earring holders. I found a few things that are not only pretty, but they hold a lot of earrings, too. Are you ready?

Tower of Earring Holder
Okay, who couldn’t love a whole tower of earrings. This tower holds 108 pairs of earrings. Yes, you heard me right. 108. and more if you double of the handing earrings. Wow! But what I also like about this is the form factor. Once you add all your earrings (and run out and order more if you don’t have 108 pairs) is that it will look like a bling tower! It holds both handing/hook-style earrings, as well as posts. It stands 16-inches high and will look great on a dresser or the bathroom countertop. It finished in black metal, which is a great backdrop, but like I said, you’ll only notice the bling once you’ve added all your earrings. The other factor that’s important is that you be able to see and find all your earrings. Now if you have more 108 pairs, make sure you buy yourself a second tower earring holder.

Earring Holder + Mirror = Beautiful Art
I love when a piece of jewelry storage serves more than one purpose. Now maybe this hand-forged jewelry hold did mean to start off that way, but that’s exactly how I see it. First, this is hand-forged metal work by craftsmen in Vermont. They’re individually crafted so no two are every really alike. Next, they added a mirror. What a wonderful idea and so handy when you’re putting on your earrings. Now I know this piece isn’t meant to be exclusively a earring holder, it it works so well for handing earrings. It’s like decorating a Christmas tree with wonderful sparkling trinkets.
This piece is more pricey than most earring holders, but when you think how beautiful it’ll look on your dresser and what a unique piece of art it is, then the price doesn’t seem so outrageous.
